Exfoliate Me

An exfoliant will remove the corneum layer of your skin, by doing so, it will increase the potency up to 30% of creams and serums to penetrate better into the skin.

The corneum layer(AKA Stratum corneum) is the outermost layer of your skin.

It serves as the primary barrier between the body and the environment.

The epidermis is the outer layer of your skin, and it plays an important role in protecting your body from things like infection, UV radiation, and losing important nutrients and water.

Therefore; over exfoliating your skin is not recommended as it will deplete the moisture from your skin causing a vicious circle of always having dry skin, redness, irritation and sensitivity to even your normal skin care routine. (Trust me, this happened to me! I am seeing a dermatologist and keeping an eye on my fair skin.)

How many times should we exfoliate?

2-3 times a week for normal skin and sensitive skin (like mine) once a week is all you need.
